Here is just an update of things that I have done last weeks. I've been working on my steering wheel, fuel tank, breaks and shocks.
The clearcoat of my steering wheel was worn out so that’s why I clear coated it again.
This was the condition of the steering wheel when I bought it.

When sanding the steering wheel the black line came off and I had to re-spray the line.

With the sticker cutter of my dad I cutted out a cirkel that
I had
measured and placed the sticker exactly in the middle
of the steering wheel.

Black paint.

Steering wheel in the first clear coat.
Second clear coat and got it in the sun to dry.

Result! Then I started working on my fuel tank.

Rubbers, fuel floater and all small parts removed from the tank.

got the fuel tank cleaned from the outside and inside

I wanted to try Caprotech it’s a new product for me, so i painted this on my fuel tank
the coating is a
kind of rubber and it will protect the fuel tank against gravel.
The rx5 is a primer you have to apply two layers. After that one layer of rx10 with 50% rx5 and the last layer 95% rx10.

First layer rx5.

After 6 ours second layer of rx5.

After  24 ours  the third layer  50% rx5 and 50% rx10.

And the last layer 95% rx10.

Got it in the sun to dry. I am happy with the result
only the coating stays fairly soft and can damage quickly.

Found an old Toyota Landcruiser at my grandpa’s garage
and the funny thing about it is that they got the brakes I was
searching for!
The calipers disassembled and after rebuild they will go on my Z.
New rubbers
Pistons removed and got them cleaned.
Got the calipers sandblasted and repainted with heat-resistant paint
